Since 2010, YouthBeat has empowered over 3,500 Oakland students to discover their voice, tell their stories, and launch careers in media and film. What began as a small after-school program has grown into a citywide movement, empowering 400+ youth each year. Now, we’re entering our next chapter as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit!

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate 15 years of YouthBeat and honor the young filmmakers at the heart of this journey. You’ll experience the brilliance of Oakland’s next generation and help fuel their dreams for the future.
